Cinco de Mayo Aboard the Queen Mary

Board the legendary Queen Mary for a Cinco de Mayo party like you've never experienced before! Enjoy an evening of live Mariachi music, folklórico dancers, and DJ sets under the stars. For dinner, treat yourself to authentic Mexican flavors with handcrafted margaritas and gourmet street tacos while you take in the ocean breeze and spectacular views of Long Beach. It's Cinco de Maya at Fuego (700 Queensway Dr)! Enjoy the holiday at Hotel Maya's iconic waterfront restaurant Fuego with specials on food and drinks, mariachi, and festive atmosphere. Food specials include two street tacos for $10, chicken nachos for $16, and steak quesadilla for $18. Drink specials include $7 bottled beer, Fuego margarita pitcher for $45, a flight of three margaritas for $25, and a flight of four tequilas for $36.

Roxanne's (1115 E Wardlow Rd) in the California Heights neighborhood is hosting five days of Cinco de Mayo festivities, with events at each of their venues. Events include a cane spirits tasting in The Exhibition Room speakeasy on May 1, a mezcal and tequila tasting party on May 2, the Estar Guars cantina takeover blending Star Wars and Cinco de Mayo at Marie's Tek Tec May 3 and 4, and a day of food, fun, pop-ups and specials inside Roxanne's on May 5. May 2-5

Both Shannon's on Pine (209 Pine Ave) and Secret Island (209 Pine Ave, downstairs) on Shannon's Corner will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with special food and drink deals. At Shannon's on Pine, drink specials are available May 2 to 5, and the sports pub will also have three tacos for $10 starting at 5 PM on May 5. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Secret Island with all day happy hour and a $10 taco plate. For a little extra fun, ask about the "Diabolita" cocktail!

Cinco de Mayo 5k, 10k, 15k, & Half Marathon

Occurring on May 3, 2025, don your best running shoes and prepare yourself for a heart-pumping Cinco de Mayo celebration. Take in waterfront views while soaking in Long Beach's sunshine. Featuring a variety of courses, this event is a perfect outdoor activity for runners of all levels. Checking in for the Cinco de Mayo run will be held at 7:00 a.m. in a parking lot off 54th Place and E. Ocean Boulevard.

Smog City Brewing Co.

The crew at Smog City Brewing Co. are ready to celebrate with you! Every Monday they have Happy Hour specials all day (11am-8pm) and you can enjoy $1 off all beer, wine, or cider pours. This is the perfect spot to spend Cinco de Mayo if you're not into tequila, but prefer or more hoppy refreshment. You can also get the party started early and head to Smog City for their Friday and Saturday live music performances from 6-9pm.
